Isabel Weldon, daughter of Ben and Lael Caldwell, is the Creative Director and jewelry maker at Ben & Lael. A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology’s School for American Crafts, Isabel has designed every new jewelry piece introduced by the studio for more than a year and personally produces the entire collection, including several enduring designs originally created by her father, metalsmith Ben Caldwell. Her work combines traditional handcraftsmanship with a fresh, contemporary approach to form, texture, and wearable design.
