“For this year's Limited Edition Christmas Ornament, the Copper Light Cross, I used both copper and brass.
The diamond shaped piece of brass around the center of the cross represents God's light and the cross itself represents the rays as they reach out to the world.
I chose a heavy 14 gauge copper sheet and used a cross pein hammer to make thousands of precisely placed planishing marks on each cross to create the texture that I envisioned. The back is stamped with the maker's marks as well as the year.
Originally created as holiday ornaments, over the years many people have shared with me that they have given one of my crosses as an encouraging gift or they keep it on their bedside table to use all year. With that in mind, I can create the cross without a hook or hole at the top if you prefer, just let me know in the notes.”

The cross is shipped with the handmade hook but can also be made without the hook so it can be used year-round at your bedside or on a table. Just let us know in the notes when ordering if you would prefer this option.
